Join us for this three evening workshop to make a gorgeous leather backpack!

This 3 session leather working workshop is designed to teach classic hand sewing techniques. Chuck Allen, the skilled craftsman behind Earth and Hide, will guide you through the steps of working with leather including punching, hand sewing, riveting, snap setting, and caring for your finished item. Students will have use of leather working tools and will be guided through the process from hide to finished product. During registration you will be able to select your choice of leather colour!

When: Wednesdays, October 4, 11 & 18, 6-9 pm each evening

Where: The Community General Store, 10 Cedar Drive, Unit B, Niverville

What is included:

  • tanned leather in 5 color options
  • hardware in copper or brass
  • waxed thread
  • tools to use during the workshop

Note: There will be approximately 3 hours of homework between classes.

** Limited Space is available. Minimum of 4 required to hold class. If minimum is not met, we will reach out to registrants to discuss options.
