Each one of these mugs is unique! Made up of layers of 5 different types of clay to create a stunning swirl of colours. Each one handmade by the Co Owner of The Community General Store, Chuck Allen!

For my hot chocolate mugs, I use a dark and light clay for the beautiful marbled effect. I got to thinking, why stop there? Why not use more different clays for a more robust effect? I bought a box each of 5 different clays: black, white, red, tan and speckled, combined then in equal parts to see how it would turn out. Based on the level of blending, some mugs show the diversity of the clay properties more than others. They're all different though and that's a big part of what makes them so beautiful!

They hold approximately 16 oz of liquid, but each mug will vary.
