Bromeliads are exotic plants from the pineapple family, native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas.

Bromeliads are slow-growing and long-lasting. After flowering, the main plant dies, but produces baby plants called pups that can be separated and potted.

Bromeliads are easy to care for indoors or outdoors. They need bright light, moist soil, and regular flushing of their cups with fresh water.

Plant care can be tricky, but it's well worth a try. The main things you need to do are: up the humidity factor, make sure it's receiving bright, natural light and don't let it go completely dry or keep it sopping wet.
